Hindi Debate

Srijan, the Inter-college Hindi Debate Competition was held on 21 July 2018 in the Auditorium at 11.00 am. This was commemorated by a speech given by the chief guest Dr Flora Olinda D’souza, the Vice Principal of SJICPUC, which had a powerful impact on the crowd. The debate was on the topic “Hindi bhaasha ketine rojagaraparak?” which means does the knowledge of Hindi improve employment opportunities in today’s world?

The event was judged by two eminent persons in the field, Dr Gagan Kumari and Dr Anamika Awasthi. 13 teams from various colleges consisting 2 students each participated in the debate. After a neck and neck competition, Vidya Nikethan School bagged the first place followed by Mount Carmel College and Jain College. The event was concluded by giving away prizes and certificates for all the winners.
