The importance of participation is equal to that of winning. We had various sports including Football, Basketball, Volleyball, and Throw ball, Kabbadi, Kho-Kho, Tennikoit, Badminton, Cricket and Hockey. In a span of over a month, 277 matches were conducted with 2312 participants, considering each boy could play 4 games and each girl 6. II CEBA won the overall championship with 250 points. The best players in every sport were awarded. Christy Nadhan J of II HEBA and Shivani S of I HEPyS were felicitated as the most valuable players of Spardha2017.

Spardha was a great day for all the sports enthusiasts. It was a great platform on which the students revealed their character and talent to their fellow Josephites and teachers. All though the matches were conducted under the scorching hot sun all the teams gave it their all and the other students cheered on, without any worries of getting tanned. Every team, volunteer and spectator gave out vibes of our college motto ‘Faith and Toil.’
