We celebrate Teacher's day every year throughout the country on 5th September. Students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan- he was our second president of India. The great academic philosopher and one of the most well-known diplomats, scholar, president of Indian and above all, a teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teacher's day.
The Teachers Day celebration was held in the college quadrangle. The Student council members and student volunteers took the initiative to honour and celebrate Teachers Day by presenting a meaningful program.
The Celebration started with a prayer, and welcomed and felicitated all the teaching and supportive staff with a flower, a greeting card and a Memento as a small token of appreciation. Students entertained the Teachers with a beautiful cultural program.
Ms. Bhagya replied and proposed vote of thank. Program was well appreciated by all the Teachers.
