Scholarship Distribution

Scholarships were distributed to the merit students and economically poor students of St Joseph’s Indian High School on the 16 th of September 2019 in the Auditorium. Mr Neethi Prakasam, an alumni of St Joseph’s Indian High School of the 1960’s batch and his wife Mrs Prakasam annually sponsor for the education of 25 students of the school along with providing scholarships worth 1 lakh for the eligible students annually. In their presence, the scholarships were presented to the students of St Joseph’s Indian High School, which was followed by a brief address by Mrs. Prakasam who discussed about what success is in a student’s life.
The Ekanandan Scholarship is provided to the students of St Joseph’s Indian Middle School, High School and PU College sponsored by Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Ekanandan who is a major benefactor of the school and established the scholarship in honor of her late husband who was an alumni of the institution. Rev Fr. Leo Pereira SJ, Rector of St Joseph’s Indian Institutions, Rev Fr. Henry Saldanha SJ, Principal of St Joseph’s Indian High School and Director of St Joseph’s Indian PU College distributed the scholarships and addressed the students regarding gratitude and achievement as a student.
