A Holy Spirit mass was held on Friday, 7th June 2019 at 2.15 p.m. in the St. Joseph’s Indian Institutions Auditorium on the occasion of the inauguration of the new academic year 2019-20 for St. Joseph’s Indian Primary and Middle School, St. Joseph’s Indian High School and St. Joseph’s Indian Composite PU College. The main celebrant was Rector Rev. Fr. Leo Pereira SJ, also present were, director of SJIPUC and principal of SJIHS Fr. Henry Saldanha SJ, the correspondent of SJIP and Vice Principal of SJIHS Fr. Cyril Menezes SJ. Addressing the gathering, Fr. Leo C Pereira stressed on the power of the Holy Spirit with which the disciples were able to accomplish the impossible. He invited the students and the staff to be disciplined with the values which would help them to reach their academic success. It was a solemn occasion which went well by the presence of all the catholic students and staff members from all the units.
