The birthday of Rev. Fr. Leo Periera SJ, Rector of St. Joseph’s Indian Institutions was celebrated on the 18 th of July 2019 in the institution level in the presence of all the teaching and non- teaching staff members of St. Joseph’s Indian Institutions. The celebration was held in a decorated auditorium hosted by all the units of SJII. The program consisted of welcoming the celebrant Rev. Fr. Leo Periera SJ, the management and staff from all the units of SJII, followed by a prayer invoked by a team from SJS. This was followed by everyone present wishing the Father ‘Happy Birthday’ as he cut the cake. A toast was raised in the honor of Rev. Fr. Leo Periera SJ by Mr. Vincent Paul from SJIHS followed by a video presentation prepared by Mr. Praveen from SJIHS, including key moments from the Father’s life and some of his well-wishers wishing him a happy birthday. Rev. Fr. Leo Periera SJ was then invited to address the gathering where he expressed gratitude to God, his family, the management, the staff and all the organizers for the support. The grand celebration was culminated with the serving of high tea to all the staff and the management.
