The department of Biology had organised a one day educational trip to university of Agricultural Sciences , GKVK Bangalore on September 11th 2018, with a purpose to enrich the students with opportunities for alternative education in the area of Biology and to provide and insight on various courses and laboratory skills.
About 30 students of II PCMB-A and II PCMB-B accompanied by Mrs. Annette Diana visited the University of Agricultural Sciences. The students visited department of Entomology, Soil Sciences , Sericulture, Tissue Culture, Horticulture and Botanical garden. Students enjoyed pinned specimens of various insects and their life cycle, taxonomy of plants and learnt about different career options and courses offered by GKVK.
