The college offers the two year Pre-University Course, under the regulation of the Board of Pre-University Examination in Karnataka with the following combination of subjects.

SEBA - Statistics, Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy
CEBA - Computer Science, Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy
HEBA - History, Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy

New Course
MEBA – Basic Mathematics, Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy.

Humanities:
HEPyS - History, Economics, Psychology, Sociology

Medium of Instruction
Teaching is conducted in English and students are required to have working knowledge of English both spoken and written.

College Timings
Monday to Friday between 8.45 am and 3.30 p.m.
Saturday between 8.45 a.m. and 12.00 noon.

There are no integrated batches which train students for competitive / entrance exams.

Admission Guidelines:

1. Online application portal will be activated on the day of declaration of Karnataka SSLC Exam results. Students of CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, NIOS and Other State SSLC/SSC Boards can apply only if the concerned board has declared the qualifying exam result and not otherwise.

2. Admission process is completely online. No application forms will be issued at the college office.

3. Online application forms can be filled through mobile phones/ tabs.

4. Admission is open for both boys and girls.

5. College Transportation and Hostel facility are not available.

6. Applicants should go through the entire nguidelines and follow all the instructions.

Please note: Ignorance of guidelines is not an excuse for errors made in the application form / procedure.

7. Applicants who are unable to submit the application online can send an email to helpdesk.sjicpuc@gmail.com briefly mentioning the problem faced with regard to the application process.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants should have passed the Karnataka SSLC Examination, or any other Equivalent Examination recognized by the Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka and must satisfy all other conditions set by them.

Requirements for online admission process

BEFORE YOU PROCEED TO APPLY PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE THE SOFT COPIES OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS IN PDF FORMAT. FILE SIZE SHOULD NOT EXCEED MORE THAN 1 MB

1. Valid E-mail ID of the candidate.
   Please Note: Do not apply using others E-mail ID or Parents E-mail ID

2. Valid mobile number of the Parents/Guardians.

3. Scanned copy of the recent passport size photograph, (in formal dress); No selfies please

4. Scanned copy of the Provisional 10 STD Marks Card or copy of online Marks sheet of SSLC/X STD. Accurate personal information (such as Candidate’s full name, Parents’ full name, Date of Birth etc.) as per any of the following documents:
   a. SSLC/X STD Marks Card / Hall Ticket
   b. Transfer Certificate

Please Note: Applicants should make sure that the information provided in the application form is accurate and correct. If the information is found to be false or inaccurate then the application will be rejected at any stage of admission process and there will be no refund of any fee paid.

Online Application Procedure :

Kindly go through all steps from Step 1 to Step 10 provided by the portal.

Please Note: A candidate can apply for more than one combination with same Login ID. However separate applications have to be generated and submitted for each combination.

Step 1: Instructions and Information
Before starting to fill the online application the candidate should compulsorily look into following aspects:
• Candidate should go through the complete online procedure and various instructions given.
• Candidate should keep ready all the documents/requirements mentioned in the instructions including scanned document copies and refer to them while filling the online application form.

Step 2: Filling up of the Application Form
Click on the “Online Application Form” link. Create an account by registering your name, email id, mobile number and password ( note down both email id (Username) used for registration and password for all future admission process) Login with your Username(email id used for registration) , password and follow the procedure to fill in all the details in the application form accurately. Upload scanned documents necessary.
Please note: All details filled in should be accurate as per the supporting documents. All fields marked with * have to be filled compulsorily.

Step 3: Verification of the filled in Application form
Once the Application form is filled, the candidate can view the filled in Application form online and check for the accuracy of the information.
ANY CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE CAN BE DONE AT THIS STAGE ONLY.

Step 4: Submission and fee payment of the completed Application Form Online
Upon being satisfied of the accuracy of the form, click on ‘Submit’ button for online submission of application. Proceed with the online payment of the Application fee of Rupees 25(Rupees Twenty-Five Only) (plus bank charges and taxes applicable) through click on “Pay” link. Your application will be registered only after the payment of application fee. You will receive an online receipt as well.

Step 5: Download and Print the Online Application Form and application fee receipt.
After submission and payment, a PDF file of the complete application form and application fee receipt will be generated, and the candidate has to download the same and take a print of the complete application form and application fee receipt.
Please Note: • The application form consists of 3 pages and print out should be taken back-to-back.
• Preserve print out of the completed application form and application fee receipt for future reference.
• Kindly check for application number and date of registration. This should be used for all future reference.


Step 6: Affix Signatures on application print out
Once the print out of the application form is taken, the candidate and parents/guardian should affix their signature in the space provided.

SStep 7: Attach Photocopies/Xerox copies of the following Documents
• Online SSLC/X STD marks sheet
• Copy of letter from Parish Priest/Pastor for Catholic/Christian candidates
• Copy of caste certificate if applicable
• Copy of Aadhar Card

Step 8: Submission of the Application Form in the College office
The printed application form with all attached documents should be submitted to the college only on receiving a separate intimation in this regard. This is applicable for students attending offline or online interview. Do not visit the college campus for the same, prior to receiving the message.

Step 9: Payment of Fees
The fees must be paid online through the link which will be enabled only for the selected candidates in their login account. Fees must be paid within the stipulated time failing which the allotted seat will be cancelled. You will receive a fee receipt for the payment done. Kindly preserve the receipt for future reference.

• All online payment attracts service charges depending on the payment gateway chosen.

• Please Note: Do not attach any Original Documents along with the application form. If original documents are submitted with the application, then college will not be responsible for its damage/loss/return. However, all the original documents should be produced for verification at the time of submission of application form/interview.

Other Important Instructions:

• Mere submission of application form does not guarantee a seat.

• The college does not accept capitation/donations for admissions. In case such a demand is made by any person for the admission process, the candidate/parent/guardian is requested to bring this to the notice of the Director or the Rector of our institution in writing.

• The college does not authorize any individual or organization to distribute/ sell/ process the application/admission on its behalf.

• Important dates with regard to the admission process (admission timeline) will be announced on the next working day of the announcement of SSLC result.

• Selected candidate along with parent/guardian must compulsorily attend the online or offline interview. For the interview, the student must be in formal attire.

• The candidate should periodically check the college website/college notice board for schedule of various important dates and timings of admission process. (Provisional selection list, interview schedule, fees, commencement of classes, payment for uniform and books etc.)

• In case the candidate’s name does not appear in the provisional selection list, a grievance must be filed through a google form link which will be available on the college website for 2 working days after the announcement of a selection list.

Please Note: Failure to follow the stipulated time schedule/admission guidelines by the candidate will lead to rejection of his/her application for admission.

• Fee Structure for I PUC will be displayed on the Notice Board or before proceeding to online payment.

• The Application registration fee of Rupees 25/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Only) (additional bank charges and taxes are applicable. Application /Admission fees once paid will not be refunded or transferred to another candidate.

• College fee can be paid in full or in two instalments. In either case Department fees must be paid compulsorily at the time of admission. The College fee payable does not include books and uniform.

• The decision of the Admission Committee will be final and binding in all matters concerning admission.
