Vision & Mission: Vision & Mission of the department is to become a center of excellence in Computer Science education and research, producing globally competent professionals with innovative and analytical minds. The department features well-equipped classrooms with Interactive Intelligent Panels (IIP), advanced computer laboratories with high-speed internet and the latest software tools, seminar and conference rooms for academic events, and a well-stocked library with extensive computer science resources.
Department Activities & Initiatives: The department actively encourages participation beyond the classroom through staff-and student-run initiatives such as the IT Club, expert talks and guest lectures by industry professionals, industrial visits and tech expos, coding competitions and hackathons, research paper presentations, faculty-led innovation projects, and intra and inter-collegiate tech fests.
Career Opportunities: Software Developer, Data Analyst, Systems Architect, AI Engineer, and Cybersecurity Analyst. Students can also explore entrepreneurial ventures such as launching tech startups in health-tech, ed-tech, fintech, or automation, offering freelancing and consulting services, developing software products and SaaS platforms, and participating in innovation and incubation programs supported by institutions and government bodies.
