The Department of Kannada aims to foster Kannada literature and culture by nurturing academic excellence. The students are encouraged to create creative expression and promote Kannada’s cultural heritage. Cultural inclusivity, academic excellence, preserving heritage are the main focus to be instilled in students.
DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES AND INITIATIVES: Kannada Sangha, Debates, Essay writing, poetry competition, Chart collage competition, Kannada cultural performances and Inter-collegiate events, Workshops and guest lectures.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS: Helps in clearing Karnataka Government Competitive exams, Content Writing and Journalism, Scriptwriting, Radio Jockey {RJ}, Freelance writing.
