The Department of Hindi was established with the objective of promoting the Hindi language and its vast literary heritage. Since its inception, the department has been a center for academic excellence, literary exploration and cultural enrichment.
VISION & MISSION: To promote interdisciplinary research and engagement with contemporary social, environmental and cultural issues through the lens of Hindi literature in the 21 st century.
DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES:- Literary Seminars and Conferences, Poetry Recitation, Creative Writing, Collage making, Debate, Essay Writing.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES: Educators, UPSC/State PCS aspirants, Translators, Hindi Officers in Central and State Government Departments, Content Writer, Editor, Script writer for TV, Radio and film, Print and Digital Journalism, Interpreter for government embassies, MNCs and international organizations.
