Teachers' Day was celebrated on September 5 in our college. The event was organised by the Student Council members headed by Ms Shwetha DS Coordinator of the Student Council to acknowledge the dedication and hard work of the teachers.
It was held in the Picardo Hall which was beautifully decorated with flowers and balloons. The event commenced at 9:30 AM. with prayer. Students expressed their gratitude, and respect towards their teachers on that day. They presented various cultural activities like dances, songs and their feelings towards each teacher. Student Council Election was held on 28 June 2022, 2:30 PM in the College Auditorium. Ms. Neenu from the department of Chemistry was the Chief Election Commissioner. In her address she stressed on the power of a ballot paper and importance of choosing an eligible leader rather than a popular one. Class Representative Election was held on 25 June 2022, 9:15 AM in the respective classrooms. Many students came forward to take up the leadership responsibility. Students had to elect their class leaders by writing representative's names on the given ballot paper. Each class had to choose a male candidate and a female candidate as their class representatives. The counting of the ballot papers were done by the class guides of the respective classes. The announcement of the winners was made on the same day in classrooms.
