The I PUC inauguration was held on June 2, 2025, at 9:30 am in the SJIHS Auditorium, welcoming 954 freshers to the college. The ceremony began with the College Anthem, lamp lighting, a prayer service, and an invocation dance by second-year students, setting an inspiring tone. Rector Fr Joseph D'Souza SJ presided over the event, joined by Director Fr Cyril Menezes SJ, Assistant Director Fr Vishal M Pinto SJ, Principal Dr Flora D'Souza, and Vice Principal Mr Pradeep Kumar.
A special video presentation introduced the college management, staff, class guides and the wide range of facilities available on campus, helping the newcomers feel informed and welcomed. The program concluded with a vote of thanks and important instructions from the Vice Principal. Organized by Ms Harshitha A, Mr Jitendra Mewara, Ms Sandhya P, and Ms Shirley Udaya Deepthi, the event marked a joyful beginning to the academic journey of the new students.
