The Hindi Diwas Celebration, organized by the Hindi Club "Sreejan" under the guidance of Hindi Parishad Co-ordinator Ms. Pinki Pius, was celebrated this September with immense enthusiasm and vibrant student participation. The event commenced with a soulful prayer song and dance performed by the students, followed by a warm welcome address. Chief Guest Dr. Vijaykumar Suryawanshi (HOD of the Hindi Department at Sindhi PU College), alongside Vice Principal Mr. Pradeep Kumar, graced the occasion. In his insightful address, Dr. Suryawanshi highlighted the deep cultural, social, and communicative significance of the Hindi language, setting an inspiring tone for the rest of the day's events. The highlight of the celebration was a highly anticipated Hindi Debate Competition centered on the timely topic, “Is Artificial Intelligence (AI) a Boon or a Curse for Human Life?” A total of 56 students confidently showcased their linguistic proficiency and critical thinking skills before an esteemed judging panel consisting of Dr. Suryawanshi and Ms. Ramaa Kulkarni from Carmel PU College. The intellectual showdown concluded with an award ceremony honoring the top performers. First place was proudly claimed by Roshan Raj, Ajay Thapa, Manas Kumar, and Rishi Kumar (I PCMC-B). Second place went to Prithi Shree Nayak (I MEBA), K.P. Niharika (I MEBA), Shreya Amate (I PCMC C), and Saanvi Jain (II SEBA), while third place was secured by Akshaya T., Abha Darshan Muttha, Md. Ibrahim Pasha, and Shaik Mehdi (II PCMC A). The event was a resounding success, successfully fostering both a love for the language and an appreciation for contemporary global debates.
