The programme commenced with a solemn march as the distinguished dignitaries were ushered into the hall, followed by the lighting of the lamp to invoke divine blessings and a soulful prayer that set a serene and reverent tone for the day. Mr. Vincent Paul welcomed the gathering, expressing immense joy in seeing the Josephite family come together. The dais was graced by an esteemed panel of dignitaries: Rev. Fr. Joseph D'Souza SJ (Rector), Fr. Cyril Menezes SJ (Director), Dr. Flora Olinda D'Souza (Principal and President, SJICPUC), Mr. Pradeep Kumar (Vice Principal, SJICPUC), Mrs. Sowmya J (Vice President, PTA), Fr. Santhosh, and Fr. Cyril Castilino. The auditorium echoed with gratitude, nostalgia, and joy during the grand Farewell and Felicitation Ceremony organized to honour stalwarts of the institution. The event beautifully commemorated the decades of selfless service rendered by Mrs. Elizabeth Jacob, Mrs. Brigit Sudha, and Mrs. Sujatha H.M. The high school staff sang a farewell song for their retiring colleagues. Academic excellence was kept in the spotlight during the event. Ms. Shirley proudly announced the 2nd PUC academic achievers, who were felicitated by the dignitaries. The memorable day concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks expressing gratitude to everyone. The celebration drew to a close as the management, staff, and guests gathered to enjoy a sumptuous meal together, sharing stories and wishing the retirees a blissful, healthy future.
