The Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) of the college was inaugurated on 27 August 2026. The programme began with a short skit on voting awareness, presented by Kavya G of II PCMC/E, Vishisht N of II PCMC B, and Jeevitha Leora of II PCMC/E. The skit highlighted the importance of exercising one’s right to vote and making informed choices as a responsible citizen. Jeevitha Leora of II PCMC/E compered the programme. Bhagyashree student of II HEPyS presented the report of the previous year, highlighting the various initiatives and activities undertaken by the ELC.The principal addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of voting and the responsibility of young citizens in strengthening democracy. This was followed by the declaration of the ELC student leaders and the administration of the ELC oath by the Coordinator, Ms. Rashmi. Students pledged to promote electoral literacy and encourage responsible participation in the democratic process.The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Monish L of I CEBA B.The inauguration marked a significant step towards fostering electoral awareness, responsible citizenship and active participation in democracy among students.
