The II PUC Inauguration for the academic year 2025-26 was held on Monday, 2nd June 2025, at 1:30 PM in the SJIHS Auditorium. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries: Rector and President, Rev. Fr Joseph D'Souza SJ; Director, Rev. Fr Cyril Menezes SJ; Assistant Director, Rev. Fr Vishal M Pinto SJ; Principal, Dr Flora D'Souza; and Vice Principal, Mr Pradeep Kumar. The inauguration aimed to officially welcome the II PUC students back to college and included a special felicitation for the former Principal, Mr Vinod Amrithraj, in recognition of his service. The program began with the College Anthem, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp, a prayer service, and an invocation dance presented by the II PUC students. The Vice Principal delivered the welcome address, and the Principal introduced the new staff members. The Rector offered the Presidential address, and the Director conveyed his inspiring message to the students.
A highlight of the event was the introduction of the II PUC class guides through a dedicated presentation. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks. The event was organized by a dedicated team of faculty members including Ms Enid Pinto (C), Ms Staffie, Ms Sowmya P, and Mr Mahadevswamy. The inauguration created a warm and welcoming environment for the returning students, set a positive tone for the academic year, and strengthened the sense of community within the institution. It also provided students with a sense of continuity and direction, while honoring the contributions of the former leadership. The presence and guidance of the management team helped instill a renewed sense of commitment and enthusiasm among students and staff alike.
