On a memorable day, our college had the honour of hosting Mr. Moritz Furste, the renowned German hockey player and Olympic gold medallist. He was accompanied by Mr. Peter Kettner, Head of the Sports Diplomacy Department of the Federal Foreign Office, and Mr. Roshan, Visa Officer. The distinguished guests were warmly welcomed by Fr. Vishal Pinto who then escorted them to the college ground, where our enthusiastic hockey players (both boys and girls) had gathered. Mr. Fürste interacted with the students, delivering an inspiring address. He also conducted a few on-field hockey drills, sharing valuable tips and techniques. Following the drills, he joined the students in a friendly hockey match, making it a truly unforgettable experience. As a token of appreciation and encouragement, Mr. Fürste gifted Schlenzi toy (the German Hockey Mascot) and t-shirts to the students. Many young players also had the opportunity to get his autograph on their hockey sticks, creating memories they will cherish for a lifetime. The visit was a moment of pride and inspiration for our college, motivating our budding athletes to pursue excellence in the sport.
