To reinforce this commitment, the management of SJICPUC hosted an interactive orientation session focused on the POSH and POCSO act. The session provided valuable clarity on maintaining professional boundaries and safeguarding vulnerable groups. Key learning from the orientation included: * Zero tolerance to any form of harassment. * Clear guidance about POSH and POCSO act and its legal compliances. * Practical techniques for handling disclosures with strict confidentiality and care. * Understanding the role and accessibility of the Internal Complaint Committee (ICC). * Redressal mechanism – outlining the exact steps to report incidents and seek justice. In conclusion, this POSH and POCSO act orientation served as an essential frame work for the Lecturers in navigating their dual roles as Professionals and mentors. In the second session, the resource person delivered an insightful address on the Indian Constitution, highlighting its core values, historical evolution and its impact on Society.
