The inauguration of the AICUF activities for the academic year 2026–27 was held on 11 August 2026 at the St. Joseph’s Indian Institution Auditorium. The programme marked the beginning of the year’s AICUF activities and brought together students, office bearers, and AICUF council members. The programme was formally inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Merwyn Fernandes, AICUF State Advisor. Around 110 AICUF students actively participated in the inauguration programme. A significant part of the event was the badge distribution ceremony, during which the newly elected AICUF office bearers were given their official badges. The office bearers for the academic year 2026–27 are: President: Lawrence Dayas Vice President: Raksha U Secretary: Shreyas S Joint Secretary: Naresh S The resource person addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance, vision, and role of AICUF in the lives of students. The session highlighted the need for students to be socially responsible, actively involved in community-oriented initiatives, and committed to the values promoted by AICUF. The programme also included various interactive activities, which encouraged student participation and created an enthusiastic atmosphere among the participants. These activities helped students understand the spirit of AICUF and strengthened their sense of unity and participation. The event was attended by AICUF Full-Timer Kruthi along with other AICUF Council members, whose presence added significance to the inauguration and encouraged the students to actively participate in the activities planned for the academic year. The inauguration programme successfully marked the commencement of AICUF activities for the academic year 2026–27. It inspired the students to take an active role in AICUF and work together towards building a more responsible, inclusive, and socially conscious community.
