St. Joseph's Indian Institute celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15 August 2025 at the institution’s football ground with great pride and patriotic fervor. The event was presided over by Venerable Rev. Fr. Joseph D’Souza, Rector of the institution. The Directors, Principals, and Vice-Principals from all departments graced the stage, adding to the significance of the occasion. We were honored to welcome our Chief Guest, Major Dr. Satyanarayana S, Senior Surgeon Specialist (ENT) at KR Puram General Hospital. In his inspiring address, he highlighted the importance of Independence Day and the responsibility each citizen holds in preserving the nation’s values. He was felicitated with respect and gratitude by the dignitaries on stage. Students from all departments participated enthusiastically. NCC, NSS, student leaders, and class representatives marched in well-coordinated contingents, showcasing discipline, pride, and patriotism-truly a sight to behold. The celebration was a fitting tribute to our nation-well-coordinated, respectful, and deeply inspiring.
